Autoerotique Makes Fun With “Extended Cut” #SELFIE Remix (CORRECTED)

Are you “so over” the coverage of the Chainsmoker’s #SELFIE? Tired of big room, popular music? Autoerotique has made it very clear that he is as well with his, erm, “juicy” take on The Chainsmoker’s hit. Despite being Dim Mak labelmates, Autoerotique went full on attack mode in their #SELFIE remix. The track starts out with the lovely conversation we’re used to, but when it gets to the drop, well, just listen for yourself and tell us what you think.

For some time now there has been a bit of a feud going amongst different EDM artists with accusations of selling out running rampant. Deadmau5 is one such artist who has no fear about kicking the hornet’s nest, with recent examples including his comments regarding Arcade Fire at Coachella along with his dropping Ookay’s Old MacDonald remix of Animals at Ultra. With Autoerotique’s additional take on #SELFIE we have another voice poking fun at the advent of trendy hit songs. At this time we haven’t seen any actual commentary yet regarding the remix, but we are definitely looking forward to The Chainsmokers’ thoughts when (or if) they come.
