C89.5 is putting DJs on the Washington State Ferries all throughout June

Have you caught a boat rave On the Hiyu yet? Both Vivid Presents and White Rabbit Group have been throwing some incredible shows on Lake Union over the last few years. Now, C89.5 is doing their own massive version of a boat party series. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Washington State Ferries, C89.5 is launching the Summer Ferry Tour!

C89.5 will be hosting four DJ sets on some of Seattle’s most iconic ferry runs throughout the month of June, featuring some of Seattle’s favorite DJs. Washington State Ferries will also be handing out swag during the sailings in celebration of the 75th anniversary.

These boats will leave on time! Give yourself plenty of time to get through the terminal and past the gates. Don’t forget you can use your ORCA card to pay for the ferry, so you could grab a walk-on ferry pass to catch this special event. Snagging a walk-on pass is highly recommended so you can skip the vehicle lines and guarantee you make it on board.

C89.5 is also celebrating 55 years on air! The nonprofit dance station has been broadcasting since 1971 out of Nathan Hale High School. We typically listen to them on the radio when commuting to/from work, and you should as well. They’re an official Billboard reporting station, meaning they have massive influence on deciding the country’s top electronic music charts.

Check out more information here on the C89.5 website, don’t miss out!
