Skrillex to Make Pacific Northwest Return at Contact Winter Music Festival 2018

Western Canada’s largest winter music festival, Contact, revealed its lineup last night, and nearly broke the internet in the process. Ladies and gentleman, Skrillex is BACK, and he’s coming to the Pacific Northwest this holiday season.

Headlined by Sonny, and The Chainsmokers, Contact returns to BC Place, downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Friday, December 28 to Saturday, December 29th- a departure from its historical December 26th start date. Not to be overlooked, this year’s lineup also features Northwest favorites NGHTMRE, Alison Wonderland, Black Tiger Sex Machine, and many more! No recycled roster here; almost all the artists featured will be performing at the festival for the first time.

As always, keep an eye out for after-party announcements. Last time he was in Vancouver, for FVDED in the Park 2016, Skrillex joined Diplo’s afterparty at the Commodore Ballroom. Could we see an encore Commodore performance, two years in the making? Our fingers are crossed!

Two-day general admission passes go on sale Monday at 10 AM, starting at $159.50 CAD (appx. $120 USD) plus fees. VIP passes will also be available for $289.50 CAD (appx. $219 USD). If you can’t make both days, single-day passes will be available, with details to be announced at a later date. With a lineup like this, Contact will likely sell out quickly, when the time comes- act quick!
