Dada Life Tantalizes With Hints Of Compound Fun (Exclusive Interview)

[divider]Hints of Compound Shenanigans[/divider]

When Dada Life announced the compound, we knew that second only to the music would be the epic shenanigans brought about by our beloved bananas. We can’t divulge the full spectrum of mischief that will be wrought on WaMu, but let’s just say that Dada’s reputation precedes them. Seattle holds a special place in the hearts of Dada, not only because Kick Out The Epic Motherf***** was filmed here but also for their love of seafood and coffee.

They’ve warned us that rather than leaving their mark on Seattle they plan to sneak in and steal all of our delicious fish. We wouldn’t be surprised if they try to go incognito at the fish market to try to carry out this plan, after all a yellow banana costume blends in quite well with the bright yellow rain gear worn by the famed fish-tossers.

“We have so many ideas that we never get to do. Our lawyers probably love us because all the money we spend. But they come back so often and say ‘no’ to our ideas. We don’t want to get sued. That said, stuff is coming!”

Besides their love of fish and caffeine, Dada had some excellent advice for those of us preparing for the Compound. They didn’t confirm a pillow fight, but they did inform us that the most important survival tactic for a Dada Land pillow fight is to “Go hard! And fight ugly!” We honestly are so excited for whatever Dada brings us. They’ve prepared us well with the Dada Land Voyage and the Dada Land App, but a few pieces of advice can never be heard enough.

Remember that if we give them One Smile they will give us all night, and be sure to make it clear that Seattle is and always will be Born To Rage. Besides buying your Dada Land ticket if you haven’t (you fool!) we can only recommend that you ready your best banana costume and prepare to Arrive Beautiful, Leave Ugly. Oh, and the boys did say they may add a few new Rules of Dada, so be sure to keep an eye on the Dada Life Twitter account to keep up with what comes next.

“Expect the unexpected. Oh, and of course. Make yourself beautiful. Everyone knows it’s all about arriving beautiful and leaving ugly.”

Keep your eyes peeled on Dance Music Northwest, we have a few more tricks up our sleeves as well before the Compound that we can’t wait to share with you.

Lizzy has been raving since the wee age of 14 after being grounded for a month for having rave fliers in her bag. Like her other love, snowboarding, what was supposed to be "a phase" has become an essential part of her life and she is excited to see a new generation developing the same love.
