Dimond Saints Syncs Album With Moon Phases

You think your production party is cool? There’s a new duo in motion and they’ll be setting big trends for 2014. Dimond Saints is a collaborative project from acid-crunk connoisseur, An-Ten-Nae and melodic-bass master Re | eece. Together they make the perfect offbeat mixture of minimal and post bass music with touches of glitchy trap to create what they call “acid-crunk.”

Surprising enough, An-Ten-Nae is not new to the scene – he began producing Trap in 2008, and has been experimenting with sounds ever since. Trap in 2008? Apparently a form of it existed.

Dimond Saints’ new (and first) album is gold. Not only is every track crafted into a dark artistic piece, but the entire album has thought behind it. Every track is an installment of the debut album, Shingetsu. (Shingetsu means new moon in Japanese) With each phase of the moon, a new song was released until the final piece was released on the night of the full moon.
”Shingetsu is a futuristic interpretation of bass music with a refined core of organic emotion.”
Certainly quite creative and most definitely impressive, Diamond Saints have everything from production quality to artistic ability.
