Are you new to Seattle, or new to the dance music scene? Or are you just looking for a new spot to hit the dance floor this weekend? Deciding where to go can be difficult. There are a number of factors that might influence your choice. The DJ, the dress code, the size of the club, and many other factors might be considered. When it comes down to it, you want to go out, but in spirit, feel right at home.

Even if you had the time to research all of the options before going out, would you want to take the advice of the web instead of a friend?

Relax. Your friends here at DMNW have done all of the hard work, cutting through the white noise online, hitting the streets, checking it all out, talking to the people in the know, and leaving you free to just dance.

The places you’ll find in this list share are a few important characteristics that define a legitimate dance club: a DJ booth; live, talented DJs; and a dance floor. Everything else may vary. The ten clubs featured in this article either exclusively deal with or frequently feature dance music. They are presented in a varied order; there is no one “top-rated” venue, because, like the music, cultures and vibes they share, Seattle dance clubs are all different. After reading, let us know your favorite in the comments!
