On October 26th, two mysterious billboards appeared with nothing but Gesaffelstein’s name – one is confirmed to be in New York City, while the other is in an “undisclosed urban area.” We suspect that this could be the announcement of a major comeback by the French producer, who has (mostly) been on hiatus since 2015.
What’s still unclear, however, is exactly what kind of comeback the billboards may signal. It very well could be a tour announcement, or even a promotion for an upcoming, unannounced album. Gesaffelstein was featured on two tracks from The Weeknd’s EP My Dear Melancholy earlier this year, so there’s definitely a possibility that we can expect new music soon.
If that’s the case, we couldn’t be more excited to see what he has in store for us!
