H.E.N.C.H Allstars Go Harder, Farther In ‘Hench 50’ Compilation

H.E.N.C.H Recordings, the birth-child of dubstep legend Jakes, has just released their fifth compilation: Hench 50. In celebration of 50 released singles, the massive compilation of tracks from industry bruisers and up-and-comers alike underscores who runs game in the UK Dubstep arena, while making bold new moves into new sound-scapes.

Hench 50 features 19 massive tunes from heavyweights Cookie Monsta, Bare Noize, MRK1, Lost, Eddie K, while making room for a slew of new tracks from rising stars Strikez & Digitial, Flowdan, Vodex, Subzee D, Bosey, and more. The label’s signature sounds, embodied by janking saw-wave synths and dark riddim grooves, do not fail to make ample appearance throughout the journey. Bloodsport, My Endz, Quad Bikes (Squarewave VIP) are exemplar tracks to experience the iconic dub sounds that Bristol bred.

Joining this cornucopia of carnage are elements of trap and future garage styles via tracks like Sidechain System96, and Veteran (feat. Trigga). Vodex & Eddie K pull everything together with Cosmic, where the initial riddim turns to all-out chaos completely with sawing, in-your-face basslines and sizzling dirty-south drums and chants.

Jakes had this to say about the release:
Writing words to signify that Hench has surpassed 50 single releases would seem to be really easy. We could say that in reaching 50 we have achieved a milestone and still stayed true to our sound. We could also say that in reaching 50 releases we are at a crossroads. I say that we have only just begun.
