This San Francisco based group has made serious waves and played shows all over the continent. With chart topping singles and major label released remixes, they are heavily respected amongst the intelligent bass and hip hop scenes.

With an unbelievably unique live show, the act has sold an astounding number of tickets in 2013 and played many major festivals. With top releases on OWSLA, Simplify and their own homegrown K Theory Music label, they have spread their music to all corners of the globe and created an impenetrable brand.

***KJ SAWKA – LIVE/HYBRID*** from Destriod and Pendulum!!!!

KJ SAWKA is BACK in the states after being on an intensive two year WORLD TOUR with the platinum selling, award winning electronic rock band, P E N D U L U M.
Bringing forth the next stage of the electronic music movement. The new mega collaboration is born. DESTROID led by Canadian bass master Excision, featuring Downlink and KJ Sawka have already been crushing every 2012 main stage. A full-on live Dubstep band executed in a way that bass music has never seen.

“KJ Sawka is the master of drum and bass drumming. Plain and simple. Kevin has been involved in some of the biggest names in EDM, and continues to release top notch work as both a drummer and producer. I need not say too much, because once you watch this video, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
Consistently considered one of the go to guys for drum and bass rhythms that will rip your ears off, he’s only going to get bigger from here. Destroid, which includes masterminds Excision, Downlink, and KJ Sawka is coming towards an end to their 2013 tour. Seeing them live is something else if you never have. Check out their remaining dates below and watch Kevin “Destroy” it on the drums.

KJ Sawka plays some of the rawest drums around. And that’s before he adds electronics. On an acoustic drumset he creates the whirs, delays, effects, and sonic dislocations of electronic music. Adding an arsenal of devices further broadens his palette, providing an atmospheric bed for his extremely visceral drumming. “I really try to re-create the drum machine beats of electronic music with an acoustic drumset, simultaneously triggering the actual snare, kick, and hi-hat sounds,” Sawka explains from London. “I try to sound as electronic as possible. I become the machine.”!/kjsawka

Boise’s very own!!!

Having overrun most major cities, the Kannibalen plague now spreads to the forests and waterways of the countryside, devastating climates and casting a cloud of darkness over much of the Earth. In the American Midwest, a pack of infected wolves has reacted strangely to the Kannibalen virus, having been transformed into great were-beasts with cunning intelligence. The leader of the pack, Kai Wachi, must now guide his wolves to safety, for the wilderness is filled with bands of flesh-eating monsters even more dangerous than himself. As he attempts to grasp the realities of his new existence, he fills the night with the chilling sound of his blood-curdling howls.

Dedicated, hardworking, and energetic – three words that is probably the best attempt to briefly describe what the Norwegian hot-shot Ørjan Nilsen is about. In the last few years he has been wow’ing audiences across the planet with his take on
what a 21st century DJ and producer should be about.

Born in 1982 in the Norwegian town of Kirkenes, Ørjan has had very little doubt about what he wanted to do with his life, having listened to countless CD compilations, and seeing some of the legends DJing, Ørjan knew that the DJ booth would be his domain one day.

Ørjans work with the dutch label Armada Music started with the track “Red Woods” released in 2006 under his DJ Governor alias, and over the years Ørjan found his groove, flashing samples of his huge potential, with “La Guitarra” (2008), Lovers Lane and So Long Radio (2010). Ørjan went on to release his first artist album in 2011 titled “In My Opinion” which stormed up sales charts and catapulted Ørjan onto the watch- list of every EDM-fan around.

Even though “In My Opinion” was very successful, Ørjan showed no intention of slowing down, quickly releasing mammoth tracks like “Viking”, “Atchoo” (2011) and opening 2012 in collaboration with Armin van Buuren and the aptly titled “Belter” followed by his own “Amsterdam” and “Endymion” before finishing out the year with club-destroyers “Copperfield” and “Filthy Fandango”.

As a DJ Ørjan Nilsen quickly established himself with an infectious blend of all things chunky and groovy, his energy and presence behind the decks has taken him around the world playing at some of the world’s finest clubs and biggest festivals, from Sao
Paulo to Sydney and many places in-between. It has been a remarkable journey which resulted in recognition from industry heavyweights.

One thing is certain, there is no stopping this Norwegian prodigy, as he is on a mission, be it in the studio or in the DJ booth, Ørjan Nilsen is determined to surprise, amaze and entertain, and you would not want to miss out.
