It has been a career milestone year for electronic producer and DJ Jeremy Olander. His talents and tremendous dedication have earned him a rare role as “the chosen one,” playing alongside the greats like deadmau5 and Eric Prydz on multiple occasions, including last weekend’s HARD Day Of The Dead. His latest release entitled The Jackie EP landed Olander the first-ever artist outside of Prydz himself to be featured on the Pryda label. You could say that things have changed quite tremendously for Olander since his September 2013 debut at Foundation Nightclub, but what we are most excited about is what has remained the same: The Music.
Set after set – whether it’s his live recording at Epic 3.0 (below) or any one of his Group Therapy guest mixes, Jeremy Olander ceaselessly delivers the richest performance, filled with the deepest, bass-fueled house and techno we have ever lent an ear to. Expect this club night to be packed to the brim, as it should be. And while this might also be the closest thing we get to ever having deadmau5 back here in Seattle, we can certainly see Jeremy Olander’s musical career heading in a similar direction. This will undoubtedly be one major night to remember for Foundation and for avid electronic dance music fans in Seattle, especially for those who prefer to play outside the lines of the commercial sound.
