John Summit joins RL Grime and ZEDS DEAD as Shambhala headliners

After an unexpected delay, the Shambhala Music Festival team finally announced their fourth headliner. Fans eagerly waited on pins and needles after learning that we’d be finding the next headliner joining other legends. On the day of the initial announcement, the Shambhala team announced a delay but promised it was well worth it. And it was: the fourth headliner is none other than John Summit. This is his debut appearance at the Salmo River Ranch, and as a headliner no less!

John Summit rose to fame quickly in 2020 with his debut track Deep End. The house and techno DJ has won awards as well, including the Breakthrough DJ award in DJ Mag’s “Best of North America” category. John Summit’s track Human is on Beatport’s “Top Streamed Tracks 2022: Dance/Electro Pop playlist. As if he didn’t seem busy enough, he also recently announced his new label and event brand dubbed “Off The Grid.”

This headliner joins the hype announcements of GRiZ, RL Grime, and ZEDS DEAD. It looks like this year’s Shambhala will be an epic one with a lineup this spicy so soon before the full lineup release. What remains to be seen is what stage will John Summit be performing on? To add to the mystery, the Shambhala Music Festival team teased that the full lineup drop is happening very soon: coming any day now.

Shambhala Music Festival takes place this July from the 21st to the 25th. Tickets are still available for purchase here starting at $525 CAD with payment plans being available on all orders.

Will you be attending Shambhala Music Festival this year? Who else are you hoping to be announced as a headliner? Let us know in the comments and on our socials. Hope to see you on the dance floor!
