Kaskade Re-Works Galantis’ “Runaway” Just In Time For FreakNight

FreakNight 2014 (and Paradiso 2013) headliner Kaskade is putting his well-known touch on a tune from fellow FreakNight 2014 performer Galantis. Following up their massively successful self-titled Galantis EP, which was released in April of this year, the Swedish duo dropped their newest single Runaway (U &I) earlier this month. Runaway (U & I) sticks with the script we’ve come to know and love from Galantis, who made quite the move into the EDM spotlight with their stunning performance at Coachella 2014. Galantis, consisting of Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw, continue to showcase their distinct style of progressive house and why they are one of the breakout acts of 2014.

Even though he’s fully established in progressive house as well, Kaskade is more than able to put a fresh spin on the relatively new track. The timing couldn’t be better, as both Kaskade and Galantis will be performing at FreakNight this weekend, giving those in attendance a couple of chances to hear both the original, and the remix, live from the producers themselves. If that’s not enough Kaskade for you, you can check out his YouTube channel where he’s uploaded his entire music catalogue.
