Kaskade’s Atmosphere has chilled the bones of fans worldwide this summer. We’ve heard the tune being screamed at the top of lungs, blasting out of car windows, and seen it touch hearts of Kaskade fans young and old. Now, Stereoshock has taken the beautiful anthem and turned in to an emotionally dynamic, worthwhile tune. The producer calls it “cinematic progressive-house;” full of sentimental edge. He uses a range of moving sound effects that instill something deep with in the listener. Deep breathing and foot-steps graduate to a baby’s voice, the then work their way up to emphasize the narrative of “a man once free [who’s] now locked up, recollecting the perceived freedom of his youth.” The tune still glitters with wavy saw synth work that hooks its way through every bone in the body. The New York bred producer, Stereoshock has now made a incredible, hour long guest mix worthy of all the sing alongs in the world.
