For the first time in her career, Rezz is releasing a music project independent of a record label. Her newest single Dark Age released on May 15, 2019. But wait there’s more! Rezz will be releasing a six track EP, Beyond The Senses in July. Yup, in just eight short weeks, we will have access to five new Rezz songs! You can pre-order now.
Rezz’s upcoming EP will feature three originals and three collaborations. Look out for her second collab with Deathpact titled Kiss of Death. Rezz and Deathpact collaborated to make Life and Death.
Dark Age is obliterating. Words can hype it up a lot but you just need to listen. Remember Porter Robinson – Divinity (Rezz Remix) and Mixed Signals? In Dark Age Rezz consecutively proves that she can produce music that contrasts her discography.
We find differential characteristics in all three of the previously mentioned releases. Rezz is typically critiqued for using formulaic patterns to make her music. In Dark Age Rezz is able to prove all her critics wrong.
Is Rezz parting ways with Mau5trap? Or is she simply taking a break? Little information is currently known, but Space Mom confirmed this as an independent release.
