Bellingham Party Twerks Its Way Out Of Control, Devolves Into Riot

Early Saturday Night around 9:30pm, a block party in Bellingham near Western Washington University quickly got out of hand. Approximately 300-400 alleged students of WWU refused to vacate an intersection near Jersey Street, and an obscene amount of those students were caught twerking on cop cars.

Law enforcement’s attempts to break it up were met with bottle-throwing rowdy partygoers. After pepper-spray, flash-bangs and gas grenades were brought in to disperse the unruly crowd, it turned into an all-out riot. It took about 45 minutes to clear the area and restore order. Someone who witnessed the riot had turned in video footage, and you can view it below.

Approximately four arrests were made, but as of now it’s unclear how much real damage or injury was done. Be safe out there guys, and remember that if things do get out of control, twerking is not the answer.
