Michael Woods

Progressive and tech house veteran Michael Woods is making a quick return to the Northwest, after performing a couple shows in the PNW in August. The Diffused Music boss will be performing around the globe this Winter, playing in the UK and India prior to Resolution 2015. The British producer has been a mainstay in the dance music industry since bursting onto the scene with his 2000 hit Warrior, and has worked under several aliases throughout his career. Woods was also part of deadmau5′ compilation album 5 Years Of Mau5, which was released in late-November. He’s used to the big stages and bright lights, and there’s no doubt Woods’ set will be one to remember this New Year’s Eve.

KILLTHEBUZZ

Dutchman Kill The Buzz is all the buzz from Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings label. His big room sound fits right in at the major label, and he’s proving he has the chops to stick around for a while. His latest tune, entitled Rise Up, is a collab with Mark Sixma and has been climbing the Beatport progressive charts. He’s currently touring Europe and his Seattle debut at Resolution will, like Hardwell, expand the WaMu to it’s biggest form possible. Although he played at Creamfields in the UK earlier this year, as well as Tomorrowland, Resolution 2015 will still be one of the biggest shows of Kill The Buzz’s budding career.

Maor Levi

Anjunabeats fixture Maor Levi is another artist many Northwest dance music fans may be fairly familiar with at Resolution 2015. He performed at Paradiso 2014, Lucky 2013, and a few shows in between in both Portland and Seattle. The Israeli also came up clutch in mid-November, filling in for an ill BT with duo Gabriel & Dresden at Foundation Nightclub. He recently released a new original tune, entitled Deeper Love. It was released on December 15th via Zouk Recordings, a branch of Armada Music. We’re always asking for MOARBASS in the Northwest, and we’ll appreciate it when we’re ringing in the new year with Maor Levi.

Johnny Monsoon B2B Darrius

Johnny Monsoon and Darrius are Northwest legends. Their reputation as such was cemented last year at Resolution 2014 when Above & Beyond, who were flying in from a separate show, were unable to make it in time for their 1:30 a.m. set time. The duo stepped up when their scene needed them most and closed out Resolution 2014 in awesome fashion. We’re pumped to see the locals added to the show in B2B form, and couldn’t imagine celebrating the new year without them.
