How did you feel about Rezz’s online show? When she went live she was surrounded by complete darkness besides her goggles. Rezz started her set with some new songs from other producers that matched her style. At first it was a tour of new music until she started playing only originals for the second half. Lonely, Drugs, Dark Age, Into The Abyss and Edge were all played.
At one point the stream reached just over 24,000 on Youtube and 5,000 more on Instagram. And yes, the crowd was nearly as big as a sold-out Gorge Amphitheater.
Rezz announced this stream with a day’s notice. When we heard that she had organized a live set we knew were going to do everything in our power to watch it. Performers like Rezz organizing free live shows is a gift right now. It’s just magic because they figure DJs need time to practice live shows anyway, they don’t want to get rusty. Thus free live streams were born. Rezz and hundreds of other DJs are the saving light.
