On July 23 the cult following of REZZ will take to the VR world like never before. For the first time ever REZZ will host a listening party for her new EP Beyond the Senses. Fan’s all around the world will witness a virtual REZZ – a live avatar-version of her on-stage persona. With her ability to hypnotize the masses it will be encounter like never before.
The VR world gives listeners a unique interactive experience of REZZ’s music. Her listening party will be powered via Wave Studio in their LA-based office. They specialize in helping artists connect with their fans in real-time through Wavecast, beaming live shows across VR, desktops and other social streams. Fan’s that join in will see REZZ create personal, first-ever interactive moments in the ‘Beyond The Senses’ virtual listening party.
“I’m excited to be doing my listening party in virtual reality next week,” said REZZ. “I wanted to take everyone beyond their senses by engaging with my music and visuals in a totally new and unique way. It’s definitely going to trip you out.”
REZZ isn’t the only artist to bring the action to the VR world lately. Wave has helped artists like Glitch Mob and Marshmello make VR music a reality. The VR world has made the jump from its gaming capabilities to live music available to anyone who will listen in.
The live virtual listening party will be available for viewing in VR or PC desktop app on Wave, free to download on Steam. As well as Oculus (compatible with Oculus Rift headset), or on live streams on Facebook, Youtube, and Twitch.
