Rise and Shine Festival Shows Us How to Party for a Purpose

If there’s one thing we love here, it’s partying for a purpose! We have a long history of supporting great causes, that also happen to align with super fun dance parties! So when we heard about a 3-day festival that’s end goal was to send kids to camp, we knew we were in!

Rise & Shine Famjam Fundraiser is an amazing little party that dedicates itself to sending a bunch of kids, in need, to camp with their friends. Oh, and check out this lineup.

Some of the best of the best in the festival circuit including B.C.-born hunks Moontricks, long-haired funk peddler Stickybuds, local hero Neon Steve, hip-hop sensations Illvis Freshly, and of course, some of the folks who put it all together, Average Gypsy. Not to mention dozens more high end bass music purveyors, this one is gonna be so much fun!

Not a ton of info is available, so far, but their Facebook page had this to say:
We will have detailed information to share in weeks to come, in the meantime, here’s some need to know:

? The event is 19 plus

? Your ticket includes camping and parking (details on car/van/camper camping coming soon)

? The event is 2 nights: gates open on Friday at noon, Sunday is departure day (no music)

? No pets, alcohol, illegal substances, glass, weapons. Cars will be searched upon entry

? The will be food for purchase on site, but you are welcome to bring your own

? Volunteer applications coming soon!

? Please direct any inquiries to: famjamfundraiser@gmail.com

MORE details to come!
Below is a video of the camp that you’d be supporting by attending. 100% of the proceeds from Rise and Shine go to these unique and fun camps!

We think that’s really all we need to hear. Cool beats and a great cause? Sold!

Who will we see at Rise and Shine? Let us know in our comments section on Facebook, and Twitter!
