New week, new San Holo! His latest stay vibrant tune, released Monday, is titled we’re all just on our way home. This marks the sixth track San Holo has released every Monday, since the end of March.

For this song, San Holo taps a musician named LUWTEN as lead vocalist. She’s the second feature to appear on stay vibrant so far. Her vocals are heavily filtered into a dream-like ambiance as she sings the hook and verses. The instrumental includes rapid percussive beats, mellow guitar work, and a signature San Holo breakdown near the end. Listen to the full track below!

Stay vibrant is an ongoing project that sees San Holo adding new songs to an ever-evolving compilation album. It’s not every day we see an artist gradually release music in this way, and it begs the question of whether or not this will culminate in an official album.

On the release of we’re all just on our way home, San Holo added a statement about the nature of stay vibrant saying, “The reason for the stay vibrant archives is just to have a place where i can post music that i make that doesn’t necessarily belong to an EP or Album or Project…” He goes on to talk about his desire to make his music last the test of time. And in the end, he wants to make the purpose of the stay vibrant archive clear: “…this doesn’t belong to an album or campaign, it’s just a peek inside my musical mind.”
