It Won’t Stop – Sevag Continues As Remix Champion

Lately, Sevag has been delving into R&B and remixing selected tracks into his own club hits, much like his latest with Mack Wilds’ Own It. This time, Sevag takes on the silky smooth R&B duet, It Won’t Stop, featuring Sevyn Streeter and Chris Brown. Sevag puts a refreshing progressive house spin onto the intro before breaking down to the chilled vocal essentials. Keeping the key elements of the original is what Sevag does best, playing them up to his advantage to create one completely new sound.

The track undoubtedly builds up, but the “big drop” is not what you’re used to; It’s massive in its quality and dance-ability, but not so over the top that it takes away from the core pulse of the original. In other words, Sevag went from smooth R&B to blissful progressive house – an intriguing sound we’d love to hear more of. This version of It Won’t Stop is yet another reminder is why Sevag is basically in a league of his own. You’ll definitely want to hear this in the club, where both hip hop and electronic listeners alike will be getting down to this. Might as well give in and admit that Sevag is reigning champion in the remix category, because with the way he’s lighting up the electronic dance floors, it seems as though It Won’t Stop.
