The 5 Toughest Paradiso 2015 Set-Time Conflicts (And What To Do About Them)

Lineup, check. Set times, check. Venue map, check. Artist guide covering each and every artist performing at Paradiso 2015, check. Alright, we have everything we need to create our stage-hopping gameplan for the incredible group of artists performing at Paradiso this summer. Unfortunately, these roses very much have thorns, in the form of set-time conflicts. At festivals across the globe, attendees are making life-altering decisions that always accompany the fantastic lineups we’ve become accustomed to. When it comes to set times, there’s no pleasing everyone, and trying to only complicates things more.

So, like a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ book, the onus is on the raver to decide their fate. But, during festival season, you can’t dog ear a set and go back to it in the event of a poor decision. Apart from aborting the carefully planned schedule for the night altogether and just going with the flow (which isn’t always a bad choice), settling set-time conflict choices is something every raver deals with. And the thousands attending Paradiso 2015 certainly have their hands full when it comes to conflicts.

Whether it’s not wanting to run from stage-to-stage, or consistently losing your spot while having to push through crowds, making these decisions beforehand can reduce a lot of future stress. Like we said, this isn’t something unique to Paradiso, and a glimpse at the set times for festivals like EDC and Shambhala are proof of that. But, Paradiso is still full of difficult decisions, and we’re here to help.

We broke down five of the toughest set-time conflicts at Paradiso 2015, and what to do about them. Due to the staggered set times of some of the stages, some conflicts include more than one artist, and more than one stage. We’re truly blessed to have a consistent crew of top acts, up and coming artists, and Northwest talent performing in our corner of the country on a regular basis. Sorting out set-time conflicts at Paradiso is the definition of a ‘First-World Problem’, and we’re happy to have the opportunity to catch all of these artists at our favorite venue.
