What better news for snow-bound producers than a great new vocal stem for remixing? Tritonal’s latest progressive festival smash Anchor (from the Metamorphic III EP) features an instantly-recognizable top line. After a few months on the sponsored remix circuit, Tritonal released the Anchor vocal stem today on Soundcloud for everyone to hear!
Two things stand out to us: first, the vocal stem is absolutely gorgeous. Perfectly timed delay and luscious reverb round out the unnamed vocalist. That’s not where this vocal shines though. It’s the harmonies. Good god they’re silky and beautiful and perfect. No doubt with some help from our friend Melodyne, but stunning nonetheless. We wish we could find out who this vocalist is, but she’s uncredited on the track. Tritonal hasn’t responded to our request for the name of the vocalist.
The second quick note is this vocal isn’t dry. Keep that in mind as you prepare your bootleg/remix/mashup. Otherwise, here’s what Chad & Dave have to say about the vocal stem!
