Luniz' 'I Got 5 On It' gets remixed by Whiiite & ETC! ETC!

Whiiite & ETC! ETC! Remix Luniz’ Classic ‘I Got 5 On It’

The year was 1995. Luniz had just released their hip hop/R&B fusion that rocked the world, as we sang along to what would become the iconic refrain to I Got 5 On It. Now trap masters Whiiite and ETC! ETC! have come together to give it the remix it deserves.

As it modulates Michael Marshall’s vocals down, we get a smooth trappy drop that reworks the original with a modern twist. It keeps just enough intact to kick our mid-90s nostalgia into overdrive, while still managing to give us something brand new. To top it all off, Whiiite has it available for free. Head over here for the download, and stream this rework of your childhood favorite below.
