White Rabbit Group announces biggest show to date with More the Merrier at WaMu Theatre

Last week, we reported a mysterious message found at the Showbox theatre, distributed by one of Seattle’s premier show-runners, White Rabbit Group. The flyer appeared to be a written letter to Santa Claus, hinting at a huge event happening this December. With the countdown ended and the news out, we are happy to announce that on Friday, December 12th, White Rabbit Group will once again be hosting their collaborative holiday special event, More the Merrier.

Together is the best place to be this Christmas!

This holiday rave will bring together fellow promotion groups, news outlets, retail companies, and music collectives throughout the PNW EDM community. Other groups include Codex Collective, Milo House, 89.5, Radiate, Cult Fest, Scummy Bears, and, of course, us here at DMNW. White Rabbit Group, along with all of the collaborators for More the Merrier, have greatly contributed to Seattle’s increasing scale in its EDM shows in both frequency and size, bringing international and high-profile artists to venues across the Pacific Northwest. This event is WRG’s yearly celebration of togetherness and cooperation between promoters, retailers, musicians, music distributors, and, of course, loyal fans and attendees.

For WRG’s biggest event to date, they have chosen one of the largest music venues in Seattle, the famous Wamu Theatre. The 9,000-capacity venue will open its doors to ravers across the PNW, along with industry professionals and anyone looking to celebrate this holiday season. In collaboration with Seattle’s renowned Santa Con, everyone’s favorite pub crawl will be ending at the Wamu Theatre, where hundreds of Saint Nicks will be joining the festivities with a star-studded lineup of DJs. Whether or not you’ll be joining the SantaCon pub crawl, all attendees are invited to show their holiday spirit with anything from ugly Christmas sweaters to reindeer antlers to any holiday attire you want while you eat, drink, dance, and be merry.

Good tidings we bring to you and your kin!

In the spirit of giving, a portion of the proceeds from More the Merrier will be donated to Mary’s Place, a nonprofit organization that focuses on children’s housing and youth programs. Also, WRG is generously offering to donate an additional 50 cents for every share and story post on their Instagram up to $500.

Starting off this jolly night of music and merriment will be PNW natives SIID and Nakatani, followed by nostalgia-driven house artist Jake Shore. Next up will be another Pacific Northwest native, Nostalgix, going back-to-back with Longstoryshort. These artists are all sure to gift us with some great sets full of originals and remixes to get the party going. For direct support, Wamu Theatre will be hosting house, hip-hop, and midtempo artist Dr. Fresch, who has played at some of our favorite PNW festivals, including Shambhala and Beyond Wonderland, and always saves a spot on his tours for the Pacific Northwest. Finally, headlining More The Merrier will be none other than Apashe, the electronic/orchestral composer and producer who was at the Wamu theatre early this year performing with the renowned Philharmonic Orchestra on his Antagonist 2.0 tour.

Make this holiday seasone one to remember!

Presale tickets for More the Merrier will be released on Tuesday, September 23rd at 10 am, but only to those who text ‘MTM’ to (206)222-6396. All tickets will become available on Thursday, September 25th at 10 am. So get ready and bring your friends and family for some festive fun at the Wamu Theater this Friday, December 12th, with White Rabbit Group and all of your favorite music collectives for More the Merrier.
