June 24, the release date for BassNectar’s upcoming album, Noise vs Beauty, is fast-approaching. The man behind the music, Lorin Ashton, has been keeping busy, having started off his summer with two nights at Red Rocks. He’s also dropping hints timed as cleverly as the songs at his shows, having just released the third in a series of songs that collectively have our ears 100% primed for Noise vs Beauty.

Hold On draws us into a beautiful dreamscape that builds into a wonderful storm of sound. The track is less than three minutes long but manages to cover a lot of ground in that period of time. The track is perfectly orchestrated to feel like so much more than the mere tease that it is.
