Vancouver, Get Ready for the Anjunadeep Tour With Our Playlist and Info!

Although it’s the conclusion of festival season and Halloween festivities, we still have much to look forward to this year. Artists often set out on regional fall tours this time of year, and we can’t wait for one of our favorites to return to the northwest. The Anjunadeep 2015 tour consisted of artists Jody Winstroff, Cubicolor, and Yotto at both Seattle and Vancouver stops. While the Anjunadeep tour is not brand new, it’s only been to our region in the last two years. As deep house and other house sub-genres have gained momentum in this part of the world, we can only anticipate that this year’s Anjunadeep tour will bring its best.

This year we have one stop of the Anjunadeep tour in the Northwest. In Vancouver,  we’ll get the opportunity to hear our favorite deep house and progressive trance artists throw down. At Celebrities Underground, we can’t wait to hear Luttrell, Theo Kottis, and Yotto perform a variety of Anjunadeep tracks. Each artist brings a different style to the label and we’re looking forward to delving further into their music.

We’re lucky to get Lutrell, who is also part of the iconic duo The M Machine,  as a part of this line up. Lutrell is only on half of the line-ups for the North American tour, so consider it a treat that he’ll be at Celebrities Undergound. We loved The M Machine at Shambhala, and are eager to see Erik Luttrell’s solo act.  Luttrell also released his most recent EP Need You on October 21st. The four song EP includes a variety of house cuts that flow together with ease. Each track has a different energy, from quirky to melodic to dark. The set will surely bring a smooth blend of techno and deep house to get the buoyant dance moves going.

Theo Kottis has grown rapidly in the electronic music scene this summer. His approach to his music is certainly unique, and often shows a prolific flair. His musical style can span from uplifting to dark, but its goal is to pull at our emotions. Theo Kottis developed his style alongside artists including Tale Of Us, Seth Troxler and Jamie Jones. The Scottish producer is set to release EP’s and tracks through Anjunadeep, Moda Black, and Last Night on Earth. With all of these exciting new releases coming soon we are crossing our fingers to hear these tracks on tour.

The Finnish DJ, Yotto inventively uses poignant techniques with structural house roots. His classical training, piano skills, and interest in multiple genres creates a unique style that you can enjoy at the club or relaxing on your couch. Yotto’s ABGT 200 mix is circulating the online EDM community with positive and enthusiastic comments. According to his post on the Facebook event page, Yotto said that the video of his set will give us teasers of new visuals that are to come. We are keen to see what other surprises Yotto will have for us that evening.

If you’re looking for a fun night with a blend of deep, tech, and melodic house then look no further. The Anjunadeep tour will not be one to miss. Tickets are currently on Tier 2, so hurry and grab them before they sell out. You can get them here for $23.10 USD ($31.10 CAD) after taxes.

To get us ready for the Anjunadeep North American Tour, we’ve curated a playlist of new and popular songs by the three headlining artists. The playlist also includes some of our other favorite tracks from the Anjunadeep label. What are your favorite Anjunadeep tracks? Are there other songs by Luttrell, Theo Kottis, and Yotto that we should add to our list? Share your recommendations with us in the comments below!
