Attention, headbangers! The wait for who will be gracing our favorite outdoor venue this summer is over. Bass Canyon has revealed their Phase One lineup, featuring more than 80 artists, and it has to be their best one yet. Bass Canyon, Excision’s beloved flagship bass music festival, will return to the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington, from August 15-17, 2025. This marks the festival’s seventh year, promising fans another unforgettable weekend of bass-fueled performances amid the stunning view of the Columbia River Gorge.
Decipher the Drop
Excision Presents went a very creative, interactive route with the Phase One lineup announcement. The festival announced via Instagram, “Decipher the Drop,” just two days prior to the lineup reveal. They had put together a number of scavenger hunts in various cities across the United States and Canada for fans to gain early access to bits and pieces of the lineup. The first person to find the Bass Canyon poster wins a ticket to the fest!
Folks who also found the poster within the hour won various prizes, ranging from merch to VIP upgrades. Coordinates were release to secret locations in NYC, Chicago, Montreal, Denver, Phoenix, Austin, LA, and Las Vegas. Additionally, fans were thrilled to find surprise meet-and-greets and experience unique pop-up sets during the hunt.

Year 7 Phase One
As always, you can expect three unique performances by Excision himself, with his solo performance, his experimental Detox set, and B2B set on deck. This year’s B2B will be with none other than ATLiens, the masked and mysterious dubstep duo from Atlanta, who you’ve probably seen headlining all the major EDM festivals lately. Blending genres like trap, dubstep, and bass, they bring an eerie, futuristic sound with some heavy-hitting drops. This B2B is one we’ve never seen before, and given Excision’s bone-rattling, apocalyptic sound and set designs, we are beyond excited to see what the three of these bass legends will have in store for us come August.
In addition to this exciting B2B, you will find many talented names in bass music at the Gorge as well. Bass Canyon continues to do an excellent job gathering the best of our favorite subgenres: dubstep, riddim, DNB, experimental bass, and more. From artists we like Adventure Club, Svdden Death, Wooli, Hairitage, Of The Trees, Hedex, and Tape B to incredible emerging artists such as Blossom, Capochino, JSTJR, and WonkyWilla, there is doubt you will find a wub that moves you. Note the blurred spots scattered around the poster… more to be announced soon!

Major Upgrades for 2025
If you heard from us last December, you know that Bass Canyon has introduced some major enhancements to the 2025 experience. In short, festival goers can expect free showers in camping, a new Portland shuttle route, and a low deposit fee of $50 if you still want to secure your passes. These are just some of the upgrades you can expect this year; learn more here.
If you have ever raved in the Pacific Northwest, then you’ve heard of Bass Canyon. If you’ve never been, this is your sign to go! With these improvements and an exceptional lineup (so far), Bass Canyon 2025 is shaping up to be the must-see electronic event of the summer. GA and VIP passes are still available, as well as tickets to the Official Thursday Pre-Party (expect a surprise B2B2B2B2B that you cannot miss.) Don’t forget your camping passes either. The option to pay by payment plans is available until June 27, 2025.
