Bassnectar The Latest Artist To Take A Break From Touring

It’s the trend sweeping through the industry, and now dubstep maestro Bassnectar is the latest to follow suit in a long line of artists taking time off from the bustle of tour life to focus on producing. As fans, no one can’t fault any artist for taking this path, but nonetheless it’s always a drag knowing they won’t be coming to your city for the foreseeable future.

The result of Feed Me’s hiatus was the eclectic glory that was Calamari Tuesday. Madeon’s hiatus will give us the native Frenchman’s first full-length album that’s sure to be spectacular. Clearly the precedent set here can only yield better music. For an artist as creative and dynamic as Bassnectar, taking a few months off can only produce amazing results, so in the end it’s hard to be completely disappointed.
