High-school freshman Steve James astounds us with production skills beyond his years in his remix of Cash Cash’s Take Me Home ft. Bebe Rexha. The 16 year old originally hails from the stix of Johnstown, PA but boasts a fan base reach as far out as the Netherlands and Australia. Breaking into the scene with big name supporters like Nicky Romero, NewWorldSound and us here at DMNW (we’re like, huge), we still can’t wrap our heads around the fact that he is barely of legal driving age.
But his adolescence is thrown out the window with his hyper-addicting melodic big room remix of Zhu’s Faded and demonstrates incredible maturity with his beautiful take on John Legend’s All of Me: perhaps one of the best remixes we’ve heard that stays true to the original with emotionally charged original vocal chops and piano breakdowns. We are left stunned with euphoric chills and definitely urge your to keep your eye out for Steve James in the future.
