Finally – after what seemed like a long wait – we can now rest easy thanks to the Clark Kent & Dead Robot remix of Flute, originally from New World Sound and Thomas Newson. After Clark Kent’s status tease, it was believed the track would surface Sunday, November 17th – however, a day late just goes to show that perfection is often untimely in the eyes of the artist, and improvements can always be made. And what the two 20-year-old Californian producers accomplished on that extra day was absolutely well-worth the wait. When we see a title like Flute, it’s safe to say we aren’t expecting a big bass-line intro. But, the song quickly surpasses it’s name when the pan-flute breaks out in a magnificent solo against the hardstyle core after a humongous, well-placed drop. It’s a really creative song to say the least, not to mention they’ve even offered it as a free download, so we thank them graciously.
