Deadmau5 To Step In For Avicii At Ultra Miami

deadmau5 filling in for Avicii at Ultra

Following Avicii’s hospitalization for “severe abdominal pain, nausea and fever from a blocked gall bladder,” none other than deadmau5 himself has been asked to step in and take the Swedish superstar’s place on the mainstage tomorrow night. This last week has seen many of our favorite DJs forced to drop out of Ultra festivities due to a variety of health concerns. Already, Stefan of Dada Life, Afrojack, and tyDi have all been forced to cancel their Ultra performances, and our best wishes go out to all involved.

Deadmau5 filling in for Avicii shows both the camaraderie and love present in our scene, even among the people who make our favorite music. Catch the mau5 tomorrow night on UMF TV’s stream, watch the rest of Ultra live right now here, and follow us on Soundcloud for all sets from Ultra as they’re uploaded!
