6th annual free Monstercat Compound event returns to Vancouver August 26

Monstercat and Blueprint Events are bringing back the legendary Monstercat Compound event for its 6th running year. That’s right: the “FREE with RSVP” one-day block party right in front of Monstercat’s HQ in Vancouver, B.C. is coming back this August 26, 2023. We could not be any more excited about this, as we’ve covered the event in past years.

This year’s lineup is forthcoming, but if last year’s is any indication, the talent promises be stellar. The block party features two stages, art installations, live art, food trucks, gaming, beer gardens, and more. The party is a great opportunity for attendees to support the local business in the area while enjoying some of Monstercat’s most-loved artists from the PNW and beyond.

Monstercat Compound 2022 dazzled, promises an excellent event for 2023

Last year’s event featured a multitude of artists across two stages. The main stage, presented by Sapporo Premium Beer, had performances from Vancouver’s Whipped Cream, Kelland, SABAI, and Steph Tsunami. The stage also featured acts from artists outside the PNW such as Sol Rising, French producer Dustycloud, and Unmarried Woman. Other artists to perform at the main stage were the Monstercat Mix Contest champions Duality, Ethani, Orenic, Rocketman, and more surprise guests.

The other stage, dubbed the “Westwood Recordings Stage” and presented by Pioneer DJ, featured many artists that have released music through the Vancouver label. The artists performing were Akylla, Jessu & Pyka, Fort Knox Five, RUMPUS, Zodiac, Khanvict, and DJ New Girl.
