[divider]Journey Through The Northwest[/divider]
In terms of the Northwest specifically, we of course had to ask why Oakenfold continues to return to Seattle. What he told us put a smile on our face. It became abundantly clear that the music scene in the Northwest, due to its musical roots and history, truly allows artists to embrace themselves, and develop at a slower, more natural pace. We are patient for the artist to grow, and we in the scene grow along with them. This showed during both his sets at Foundation Nightclub the last two times he passed through our fair city. He got to play more of his dark tracks than he would in other corners of the world, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
