Pigeon Hole Plays ‘Dodgeball’ With Our Eardrums In New Tune [Review]

Pigeon Hole is back and better than ever with a brand new tune! After a crazy first half of 2018, including huge sets at Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, and Emissions Festival to name a few, the boys have been hard working in the studio to give us fresh summer tunes!

This one is a SHAKER. Titled Dodgeball, it’s a homage to their classic crunchy sound, while bringing their hype game to a whole other level.

Starting out with a wailing synth line and a build up to get you pumped, before dropping into a low end banger that is so purely Pigeon Hole, it’s immediately recognizable. What follows is 4 and a half minutes of absolute FIRE. Cheeky samples and that synth line from the intro, round out a tune so filthy that we need a shower afterwards, and that’s the honest truth.

The guys have clearly been taking influences from their travels; their sound has not only stayed true to their influences, but it has gained a new level of crisp sound design and heavy hitting bass that we’ve never heard.

All in all, we’re just excited for a new album. 2018 has already been a landmark year for the guys, and it’s just about to get better. With appearances at Shambhala Music Festival, and many more to look forward too, it’s gonna be a good summer.

What do you think of the track? Where will you be seeing Pigeon Hole this summer? Share your thoughts in the comments or on social media!
