Spoiler Alert: New Track from Woofax Sets The Glitch Hop Tone for 2018

The buzz surrounding Matt Simmers, aka west coast bass pioneer Woofax is growing every day. Between his highly discussed split from former partners in music Terravita, anticipated releases, and electric set at this past summer’s Shambhala Music Festival, 2017 was a year of growth and advancement for this bass music virtuoso. Also affiliated with Calgary’s audio production pioneers PK Sound, it’s clear that the following year will likely to be full of highs.

Now, Woofax’s first release of 2018 comes out of the gate and blows away even the highest of expectations! The new tune, Spoiler Alert, is a breath of fresh air in an already high volume glitch hop scene. A hypnotic synth line, almost reminiscent of early Daft Punk, and melodic horn section keeps the tune fresh and funky all the way through.

Spoiler Alert is currently sitting at #2 on the Beatport Glitch Hop charts, just behind bass house prodigy Jauz, since the its release on January 12th. For a new alias and a brand new sound, this is a massive achievement for Woofax, setting the tone for 2018 and leaving us begging for his next release.
