Darrius

Performing at the Twisted Big Top at 6 p.m. Friday, Darrius is the perfect way to get your FreakNight experience started. A master of the melody with the stage presence to have his sound feel just as powerful from the first row to the last, New Orleans-native Darrius is the definition of ‘Northwest Favorite’.  His heroics at Resolution 2014 are well-documented and prove that Darrius is ready for anything. If you, like us, can’t get enough Darrius, you’ll have plenty of chances to see him leading up to FreakNight 2014. He is performing throughout the Northwest as a member of the ‘FreakNight Travelling Circus’ tour and is performing a B2B set with FooFou at Neumos on October 29th as a part of USC Event’s ‘Freakweek’.

DeafMind

Portland-natives DeafMind will have the pleasure of opening up the Bass Asylum Saturday evening at FreakNight 2014. Ranging from trap to moombahton to breaks, the hip-hop influenced duo know how to get people moving. You can enjoy a wide variety of original tunes, remixes, mash-ups, and mixes on their Soundcloud, all of which were uploaded in the last 10 months. If you’ll be needing that energetic bass stage to kick-start your second day of FreakNight festivities, DeafMind will do the trick.

FooFou

The debut act at the Midway of Mayhem on Friday night, FooFou will be bringing his huge house sound and diverse style to the WaMu Theater for FreakNight 2014. FooFou, also known as Fouad Masoud, is a Seattle-based DJ who currently holds residencies at Foundation Nightclub and Q Nightclub. His expansive mixes and ability to read and react to a crowd set him apart, and there’s no doubt he’ll fit right in with the rest of the Carl Cox & Friends lineup.
