Sullivan King ‘Thank You For Raging’ tour to hit Portland and Seattle

Calling all headbangers! Prepare for one of the most apocalyptic EDM tours to hit the Pacific Northwest this year!

Sullivan King’s upcoming tour, Thank You For Raging, is about to destroy Portland and Seattle in late November, and he’s bringing three next-level openers along for the carnage. Tickets are available now for the Portland show on November 29th and the Seattle show November 30th.

Sullivan King, or Sully, as his fans like to call him, can be described as the ultimate fusion between heavy metal and dubstep. His performances are as high-octane as they come, and he almost always has his electric guitar with him. He’s even been seen smashing his guitar during an emotional set in true rockstar fashion.

No stranger to the Pacific Northwest, Sullivan King has played the legendary Bass Canyon festival at the Gorge Ampitheater for both years of its existence. There’s no doubt he’ll be bringing that same festival energy to his Portland and Seattle shows.

Not only will we maybe get to see Sully smash his guitar on set, but we’ll also be gifted with some insanely talented openers. Allow us to introduce Grabbitz, SWARM, and LICK. That’s right, the openers are so good they’re getting special write-ups!

Grabbitz

Sully and Grabbitz appear to be good friends with a great synergy that can be seen in their musical collaborations. Grabbitz is a shining example of Post-EDM transitions as he shifted away from heavy-hitting DJ sets to more lyrically-focused instrumental productions. He featured on Sullivan King’s 2019 EP The Demented, as well as on the single Crazy As You released on the Monstercat record label. Despite performing live lately, it looks like Grabbitz will be doing a DJ set for Sully’s upcoming tour.

SWARM

If Dante’s Inferno had a soundtrack, SWARM would undoubtedly be the composer. The Florida-based producer started 2019 off right with his EP This is the End. The EP was a showcase of his artistic abilities in weaving together a nightmarish story through music alone. Like with Sullivan King, SWARM’s background in heavy metal acts as the backbone of his music evident in his choppy breakdowns and dark stage presence. Both producers have close ties with the Kannibalen record label known for putting out some pretty heavy bangers.

LICK

We’ve already written about LICK here at Dance Music NW. He’s an artist we’ve been watching for a while, and with the release of his debut album last month, he’s quickly climbing the charts of 2019’s best EDM up-and-comers. LICK’s dark, mid-tempo bass production is sure to get the crowd dancing in all sorts of ways. His debut album DARK VIBE ORDER  is an anthology of catchy dance beats and top-notch vocal features.

See the image below for the full list of tour dates. There are still many that are yet to be announced. Also, noticeably missing from the Portland and Seattle shows are Eliminate and Yakz who will be performing in other locations.
