Uniting Souls Music delivers ‘Half Light Sway’ remix EP to close out 2022

Seattle’s Uniting Souls Music label is finishing the year strong with a five-track EP featuring four remixes of title-track Half Light Sway. The body of work is the 60th EP released by the house music label, which was originally founded as an events company in 1997 and has called Seattle home since 2000.

The original tune getting the handful of reworks, Half Light Sway, is a collaboration between Seattle’s Wesley Holmes and Lar Gibbons. It’s a classic house track that showcases its quality on the EP with the number of ways it can successfully be remixed. Great artists help that too, and thankfully this release has both.

Joining Holmes and Gibbons with remixes on Half Light Sway are Doc Martin (with a subwarp remix), Jon Lee & Tony H, Liz Somes, and Jordan Strong.

“SOOO excited to announce the release of Half Light Sway by Anderson McLaurin /aka Lar Gibbons and myself on Uniting Souls Music at the end of the month .. To celebrate the release, Ramiro has true underground legend Doc Martin coming up for a special set >>> who also produced a fire Sublevel remix for the release!!!!…. Liz Somes, and Jon Lee & Anthony Henderson also crafted some magic remixes and will be throwing down some special sets for the event (missing you jordan). – Wesley Holmes via Facebook

Uniting Souls branched into releasing music in 2004, creating Uniting Souls Music. While they’ve found international success with the label, the group hasn’t stopped putting on great local events. You can get more Uniting Souls Music vibes at Diggin Deep NYE Masquerade at The Monkey Loft on December 31 from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Until then, support the local dance music scene while enjoying Half Light Sway by purchasing the EP over on Beatport beginning on Friday, December 9.
