Nine heavyweight tracks that are sure to flex systems and blow minds worldwide. The sound-scapes are lush, full of nuances & complexities that beg for repeat listen after listen, awarding those who take the time to immerse themselves in the mix.
Pixel is a prime showcase of the clarity and impactful production throughout the album. The track is a whirlwind of 8-bit and baroque vibes that evolve to sweeping, intense movements in melodies and rhythm. The mix-down maintains crystal clear sonic profile and direction despite the tense, busy leads and hammering 808s.

Jones gives no quarter and holds nothing back in Ring the Alarm. The sound-scapes throughout the EP are meticulously crafted and refreshing in composition, serving dual purposes as excellent mix material and standalone pieces of art. Further into the mix, Engima emerges as a puzzling, complex production that truly lives up to its name. The song traverses through the wizard’s sonic realms- from ethereal, ghostly notes to that signature Jones groove of fluttering hats, floating space-era frequencies, and sizzling, thundering bassweight; the composition is a showcase of G Jones’ ability to compose dynamic, flowing sound-scapes at a higher level than we’ve ever seen from him before.
Each song can be enjoyed and interacted with individually. However, the work as a whole morphs into a different beast entirely when one dives in and traverses it from start to finish. Listeners who sit down and dive into the album thrown headfirst into the darker depths of G Jones’ world. Here, the outerworldly and abysmal mingle and intertwine. The murky darkness is home to shifting, faceless transients that mold to the mood and vibe of the beholder. In such a world, the explorer is able to immerse themselves and create a story of their own.
Drift VIP, the last passage of the story, embodies the overarching vibe and ethereal tones layered through the album, and serves as a final blast-off to help adventurers rise out from the deep and a return into weightless orbit… back to drifting through space and time.
