Blackbird Blackbird Gets Deep With “Hold On”

Blackbird Blackbird‘s new track is the perfect dose of dreamy pop to satisfy your indie-electronic cravings. Straight from San-Fran, BB is back and better than ever with his release of “This Is Nowhere” and “Hold On.”  The two songs are a sneak preview of what’s in store for his album, “Tangerine Sky” which will be released in May on OM records. The first release, “This Is Nowhere” is a heart-wrenching, bass-heavy groove full of soul. Although beautiful, It rides a melancholic wave of nostalgia and pulls on some heart strings. There’s a graceful dance between synths and icy drums that set the tone for Blackbird Blackbird’s falsetto vocals.

Flip to the other side, and we run into a heavy ambient tune with sparkling percussion and ghostly vocals that float smoothly over a mixture of driving beats. This particular track is a fan favorite when BB plays the unreleased goodie at his live shows.

Lie back, grab a drink, and settle in to the smoothness of Blackbird Blackbird’s heavenly sound.
