You’d be hard-pressed a genre that California-born Candyland can’t master. In celebration of what the eclectic duo is affectionately calling “Freebie Week,” they’ve been releasing free tracks since Monday. From remixes of Prodigy to Butch Clancy, it’s been a steady stream of one killer track after another.
For their latest trick, they’ve transformed Justin Timberlake’s silky smooth Suit & Tie into a groovy house banger. Keeping the flow of the song (along with JT’s vocals) for the most part intact, they’ve draped easy-going synth across the backbone, making for an offering that somehow manages to out-sexy its source material.
