What could be better than a new Diplo release? Why, we’re so glad you asked! The answer of course is a MASSIVE bootleg pack release to celebrate a million, yes, 1,000,000 people clicking the handy dandy like button on Diplo’s Facebook page. Whether you love trap or can’t freaking stand it it’s hard to argue that any artist hitting a million fans is a big deal. This totally deserves celebration, and who can’t get excited about new music to add to their collection?
This glorious bootleg pack has 9 tracks for a total of a little over 30 minutes of auditory enjoyment. Well, some of us enjoyed it at least. As we mentioned a wee while back, trap is a bit of a polarizing topic on our team. However, on a sunny summer day even our most surly team members are forced to crack a smile and turn up the bass and let loose, even if the smile is more of a smirk. We were lucky enough (see what we did there?) to see Diplo on stage at Lucky back in March, with all of the success and radio play he’s getting we look forward to seeing him again in the great Northwest soon.
