Halfway through my lunch of Pizza Pockets and Doritos, Landis’ newest bootleg, Booty Swing, had me dancing around the kitchen cutting a rug. It did not take long to realize why Landis is gaining attention from some of the biggest names in the industry like Tiesto, Chuckie and Fedde Le Grand.
Landis’ funky electro sound is a refreshing break from the current monotonous big room house trend. Pulling inspiration from the Swing era, Landis mixes old-timey brass and vocals with an upbeat house tempo creating a fun and dance-able track.
