Paradise Mainstage

Kicking off the party in Paradise Mainstage is the Paradiso ‘DJ Invitational Winner’ Chance King, we’re excited to hear the tunes he’s cooked up for the crowd.

Next up is Seattle local Jake Crocker, whose track Faded (Remix) utilized the vocal stylings of Tessa Rae and some melodic Trap drops to create a beautiful story. This is one act you don’t want to miss.

Earlier this year, Stylust Beats and Shinji made their debut as Jvmpkicks by releasing an almost forty minute mix. The fantastic mix features genres such as G House, Trap, Hip-Hop and some previously unreleased originals. Check out the mix here.

Elephante whose debut EP I Am The Elephante made the #2 spot on the iTunes Dance Album chart. The multi-genre artist is no stranger to trying new things out, as he’s consistently experimenting with Big Room, Progressive House, Pop and Trap.

Future bass producer and Mad Decent act Party Favor made his mark on the Billboard Charts in 2016, with his track In My Head featuring vocals from Georgia Ku. The track initially debuted at #24, but eventually peaked at the #7 spot. That same year, his first EP titled Party and Destroy debuted at #6. Party Favor has performed sets at Coachella,

Swedish duo Dada Life try to make their performances as fun as possible and in 2013, they broke the Guinness World Record for the largest pillow fight. Yes, you read that right. The duo are known for frequently going over-the-top and that can only guarantee one thing: a wild ride.

Belgium duo Ganja White Night are performing at Paradiso for the first time this year, and at Main Stage no less. Pair the duo’s iconic wobble sound with dubstep, hip-hop, DnB, and their love of world music, and you’re in for one hell of a good time.

Billboard has described Snails‘ music as “guttural bass gurgles, crushing 808s and synthesizers oscillated well past the point of absurdity.” The Dubstep artist is known for always pushing the limits, and his unique music submission to Colorado blog This Song Is Sick helped him make his quick rise.

Canadian DJ Rezz releases music that can only be described as ‘Techno-meets-Dubstep’. Not long after she released Mass Manipulation (her Juno award winning album) she released Witching Hour, a haunting single from her upcoming album Certain Kind of Magic. As of this publication, Rezz is the ‘Most Scheduled Artist’ in the Paradiso App.

You may know of Trance artist Armin van Buuren because of his ‘A State of Trance,’ radio show that he’s been hosting since 2001. Most recently, he dropped his collaboration with Alan Walker titled I Don’t Wanna Go at Ultra Miami 2018 set.

Deadmau5 surprised fans at Spring Awakening when he previewed his upcoming collaboration with Rob Swire, and it’s quite possible that he’ll give Paradiso fans a preview as well. Earlier in the year, deadmau5 made headlines when he partnered with South African composer Gregory Reveret for his upcoming album, Where’s the Drop?. He’s no stranger to experimenting with differerent genres and we’re sure his set will be 100% lit.

Sharps is another Seattle local with a lot of experience under his belt. Originally with Instant Party, Sharps left the group to pursue a solo career, and oh boy, has he ever been successful. In addition to his status as a resident, he’s the Music Manager for Aston Manor.

Seattle native Darrius is no stranger to putting on a good show. The Foundation Nightclub resident and brand ambassador for USC events has opened for the likes of Armin van Buuren, Kaskade, Porter Robinson, and many more. Expect a high energy set with a charismatic host.

The Dutch duo Moksi grew in popularity in 2017, largely thanks to a handful of killer releases. The pair started out because they wanted to have fun and play club shows, but that soon changed as they found themselves playing a gig at Tomorrowland Festival in 2015.

Medasin plays a genre of music that he described as “the future beat movement”. This genre incorporates music from the iStandard Dallas Competition, and as a result, he was flown to New York to compete further. While he didn’t secure a win in New York, he made connections that brought him where he is today. His remix of DJ Khaled’s Wild Thoughts made it in Billboard’s Top 5 article about the same track.

Swedish trio Brohug has seen several releases on big name labels, most notably Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak label, and Tiesto’s Musical Freedom label. At FreakNight 2017, the DMNW team had an exclusive interview with Brohug, and they shared their origins, inspirations and so much more. Check it out here.

Nathaniel Rathbun, also known under his moniker of Audien, rose to fame rapidly year sago, and is now considered to be one of the foremost progressive artists today. Back in 2014, we had an exclusive interview with Audien, in which he opens up about his love for music and everything else. Check that out here, it’s absolutely beautiful.

German trance legend Paul Van Dyk is one of the pioneers of the genre, and it’s pretty much guaranteed that if you like trance, you’ve heard of him. Mixmag readers voted his track For An Angel to the 8th spot in ‘50 Greatest Dance Tracks of All Time‘. After having a tragic accident at ASOT, Paul van Dyk was thankfully able to recover, and while on tour he wrote his eighth studio album From Then On, which was released in 2017.

Chicago-based Louis The Child are a duo consisting of members Robert Hauldren and Frederic Kennett. In 2018, their track Better Not featuring Wafia peaked at the #14 spot on Billboard’s US/ Dance Music Chart. The duo are also well-known for their singles It’s StrangeWeekend, and Fire.

Last September, Tchami x Malaa announced that they’d be embarking on their No Redemption Tour, and one of the stops is Paradiso’s Main stage. The French house artists started collaborating in 2016 and the amazing partnership shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. In April, Tchami and Malaa discussed the creative process for the No Redemption album in an exclusive interview with Billboard.

Porter Robinson debuted his Virtual Self alias in 2017 through the release of his Virtual Self EP. Billboard lauded it as “high-concept musical nerdiness with a heavy Final Fantasy vibe.” Virtual Self’s music and performances are reminiscent of the dance and internet cultures of the early 2000s. We highly recommend checking him out; you won’t regret it.

DJ Snake is the third most scheduled artist for Paradiso 2018, and is also closing out the Main Stage. His Turn Down for What track with Lil Jon won a Billboard Music Award for ‘Top Dance/Electronic Song’ in 2015. The following year, DJ Snake’s Lean On (a collaboration with MØ and Diplo’s Major Lazer) won the same award. Most recently, he landed at the #9 spot in the Billboard’s Dance 100.
