20-year-old deep house DJ Alex Schulz has just released “U & I,” an electro dance track with a light mist of dark ambiance. “U & I” separates itself from Schulz’s previous work because of his new, profound, gentle experimentation with moody choir synths and light percussion – similar sounding to a sink dripping water. When the beat starts, a sped-up, chopped Ellie Goulding vocal becomes the perfect accompaniment to this dance floor hit. Every time the song ends with its scaring piano melody that fades into oblivion, its hard not to start it again from the very top.
