The Spook-tacular Genre-By-Genre FreakNight 2014 Artist Guide

Bingo Players

Duo Maarten Hoogstraten and Paul Bäumer originially constituted Bingo Players, until the unfortunate passing of Bäumer in December of 2013. After taking time away from music, Hoogstraten has continued on with the Bingo Players (yes, plural) moniker at the behest of Bäumer. Bingo Players have since gone on to perform at Nocturnal Wonderland, Tomorrowland, EDC – Las Vegas, and more. One of the top acts in electro house for years, the Bingo Players will be a show that you’ll regret missing.

Botnek

Since remixing The Chainsmoker’s smash hit #Selfie with great success of their own, Canadian duo Botnek have turned into one of the must-see acts of 2014. Working heavily with Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, Botnek have released a slew of scintillating remixes and collabs that fans of any genre can appreciate. The duo, made up of Halifax-natives Gordon Huntley & Erick Muse,  will not only feature at FreakNight 2014, but as members of the FreakNight Traveling Circus tour going throughout the NW in late-September and early-October. The tour is making seven stops, four in Washington, two in Oregon, and one in Idaho, so if you’re looking for a way to get your FreakNight fix a little early, here’s your chance!

DVBBS

Another Canadian duo, DVBBS (pronounced ‘dubs’), returns to the Northwest following their appearances as support on Adventure Club’s tour through the PNW last winter. Since then they’ve toured all across North America and Europe and will be bringing their massive sound to Seattle once again. They skyrocketed into the EDM spotlight in 2013 after being announced as the producers, along with Borgeous, of mega-hit Tsunami. They’ve gone on to release several successful tracks since and worked with several of dance music’s biggest artists. Looking for a high energy set and an undeniably fun time, then avoid the Stampede and get to DVBBS set early.
